A training seminar for integrative field coordinators was held at ENU

The Centers for Psychological and Inclusive Support of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University organized a training seminar entitled “No One Is Left Out!” at the “Tumar” Educational and Recreational Complex in Zerendi District.

The event was attended by coordinators responsible for inclusive education from the faculties, higher schools, institutes, and the Higher College of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The main objective of the training seminar was to enhance the professional competencies of inclusive education coordinators, develop common approaches to supporting students with special educational needs, and strengthen cooperation between structural units and university support centers.

As part of the program, participants discussed the fundamental principles of inclusive education, the timely identification of the needs of students with special educational needs, their support throughout the educational process and university environment, as well as the roles and responsibilities of inclusive education coordinators.

The seminar included both theoretical and practical components. Participants took part in a practical first aid training session, psychological training, an art therapy session, and a specialized training seminar focused on inclusive education.

In addition, as part of the program, participants joined a community clean-up activity aimed at improving the grounds of the “Tumar” Educational and Recreational Complex. Through their participation, they contributed to maintaining a clean, comfortable, and welcoming shared environment.

During the event, participants also supported the “Give the Gift of a Book” campaign by donating books to the library of the “Tumar” complex. The initiative was aimed at expanding the library collection and encouraging visitors to develop an interest in reading.

Following the seminar, participants enhanced their practical knowledge and skills necessary for organizing work in the field of inclusion and identified areas for applying effective mechanisms to support students within their respective structural units.
