ENU Department of Tourism participated in Kazakhstan Travel Forum «SAYAKHAT-2026»

The Department of Tourism of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University participated in the Kazakhstan Travel Forum “SAYAKHAT 2026”, held in Astana. The Department was represented by Acting Associate Professor Aidar Mukanov, Acting Professor Dinara Salauatova, and students of the Tourism educational program.

Participation in the forum enabled faculty members and students to explore current trends in tourism development, modern tourism products and market requirements, expand professional networks, and exchange experience with representatives of the tourism industry.

“Participation in the forum was a valuable opportunity to explore current trends in the tourism industry, establish contacts with business representatives, and discuss prospects for cooperation between education and the industry. Such events help us better understand market needs and take them into account when training future tourism professionals,” said Dinara Salauatova, Acting Professor of the Department of Tourism.

Participation in the forum was also particularly valuable for students and graduates of the Tourism educational program.

Sanzhar Rakhmanov, a graduate of the Department of Tourism, and Manager of the “Turistik Qamqor” Corporate Fundhighlighted the practical value of the event:

The Department’s participation in the Kazakhstan Travel Forum contributes to the development of practice-oriented tourism education, strengthening cooperation with the tourism business, organizing student internships and practical training, and implementing joint projects with industry representatives.
