ENU Implements Project to Develop Students’ Language Skills

A meeting with representatives of Qlang was held at The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (ENU). During the meeting, participants discussed ways to improve students’ language training, expand digital learning opportunities, and strengthen cooperation between the university and the company.
From June to August 2026, ENU students studied English online through the Qlang platform. The project was aimed at developing language skills, consolidating existing knowledge, and providing students with practical experience in using English.
Ardak Beisenbay, ENU Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, emphasized the importance of English-language proficiency in today’s educational environment.
“Fluency in English provides our students with opportunities to participate in international educational programs, establish professional contacts with foreign partners, and expand their career prospects. Following the program, nine of the most active students from the Higher School of Education were recognized. This is a result of the students’ interest in gaining knowledge and their active participation in the learning process,” Vice-Rector said.
Konstantin Orlov, Director of Qlang, spoke about the results of the cooperation with the university.
“Our partnership with Eurasian National University has been an important experience for us. Throughout the project, students regularly participated in the learning process and demonstrated a strong desire to improve their knowledge. Such joint projects contribute to the effective use of digital technologies in education and help enhance young people’s language competencies. We intend to continue our cooperation with the university,” the speaker said.
Students from the Graduate School of Education who participated in the program also shared their impressions.
“We are grateful for the opportunity to improve our English. During the course, we not only expanded our knowledge but also became more confident in using English. Projects like this make a significant contribution to developing language skills and expanding professional opportunities,” Amina Sultan, a fourth-year student said.
At the end of the event, certificates for 60 online lessons with an individual instructor were presented to the students who had demonstrated the highest level of activity during the program.
