ENU Celebrates 80th Anniversary of Distinguished Educator Tildash Bituova

The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University hosted a special event titled “Gifted Children – The Bright Future of Our Country” (Дарынды балалар – еліміздің кемел болашағы) dedicated to the 80th anniversary of distinguished educator, Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Corresponding Member of the Y. Altynsarin National Academy of Education Sciences, and recipient of the “Qurmet” Order Tildash Bituova.

The main purpose of the event was to recognize Tildash Bituova’s educational and public service, her nearly 60 years of dedication to education and the upbringing of younger generations, to promote her extensive experience in supporting gifted children, and to pass this experience on to future generations as a worthy example.

The event brought together government and public figures who have made a significant contribution to the development of education in Kazakhstan, scholars and educators, representatives and specialists from the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn” and the “Baldauren” Educational and Recreational Center, as well as talented young people.

Tildash Bituova’s professional career has included positions of great responsibility, from a general school teacher to leadership roles within the education system. As head of the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn,” she made a significant contribution to systematizing efforts to identify and support gifted students, as well as developing their creative and intellectual potential. In addition, as Chairperson of the Academy of Young Patriots of Kazakhstan, she paid particular attention to the civic and patriotic education of the younger generation.

During the commemorative event, tribute was paid to the honoree’s nearly 60 years of professional contribution to education, her educational and organizational work, and her significant contribution to developing the national system for supporting gifted children. Colleagues who worked alongside Tildash Bituova at different stages of her career and her former students shared their memories and conveyed their warmest wishes to the anniversary honoree.
