ENU and universities of Azerbaijan are expanding cooperation in the field of education and science

Strengthening ties between the youth of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan should be based primarily on the development of education and science. This was stated by the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan Alimirzamin Asgarov during his visit to The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
The meeting with the leadership and teachers of ENU was devoted to the prospects for further cooperation in the field of education, the development of academic mobility, the expansion of scientific contacts and the strengthening of humanitarian ties between the two countries.
Rector of the Eurasian National University Yerlan Sydykov noted that ENU's cooperation with leading universities and research centers in Azerbaijan is consistently developing in several areas, from educational and research projects to academic mobility, double-degree programs and cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
"The Eurasian National University cooperates with 10 higher educational institutions and scientific centers of Azerbaijan on the basis of agreements on mutual understanding and cooperation. I am glad that the friendly relations between our countries are continuing in the field of education. The participation of our students in international meetings, familiarization with the culture and educational experience of other countries make an important contribution to their professional and personal development," Rector said.
The Azerbaijani Ambassador thanked the university's management for the warm welcome and congratulated ENU on its 30th anniversary. In his speech, Alimirzamin Asgarov emphasized the historical depth of relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan and noted the special role of youth in the further development of bilateral ties.

Having experience in teaching, the ambassador noted the special importance of meeting with ENU students.
"I have also taught at a higher education institution and lectured students, so today's meeting with you at the Eurasian National University is of particular importance to me. In this regard, I would like to note that the friendly and fraternal relations between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have deep historical roots," the diplomat said.
During the visit, Alimirzamin Asgarov met with students in Heydar Aliyev Lecture Hall and answered their questions.
