On 2 October 2026 at 10:00 a.m., an information session on visa matters was held for international students in Room 208 of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction, located in Building 6 of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. The session was attended by the majority of the faculty’s international students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes, including students from Russia, Uzbekistan, Mongolia, China and other countries near and far. Botagoz Paratkhan, Head of the Sector for Foreign Nationals within ENU’s Department of International Cooperation, attended the event and explained the procedures for preparing visa documents, extending visa validity and submitting the required documents on time. Students were reminded of the importance of monitoring the validity of their visa documents throughout their studies and planning the necessary procedures in advance. They were also advised to contact the Sector for Foreign Nationals in Room 407 of the university’s main building at 2 Satpayev Street if they had any questions or unresolved issues concerning visa documentation. The session aimed to raise students’ awareness of visa procedures and prevent difficulties arising from late document submission or expired documents. The joint efforts of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction and the Department of International Cooperation provide ongoing information support for international students, help them adapt to the university environment and contribute to favourable conditions for their studies.
