World religions – cognitive quiz

On 10 October 2026, the Department of Chemistry held a cognitive quiz on world religions for first-year students. The event was conducted by Senior Curator Zh.K. Artykova.
The main aims of the event were to broaden students' knowledge of world religions, foster respect for spiritual and cultural values, raise religious literacy, and build a culture of tolerance.
In the first part of the event, students learned about the history, features, and cultural significance of the major world religions, including Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, and other religious traditions.
This was followed by an interactive quiz on the history, traditions, and characteristics of world religions. Students took an active part, answered the questions with interest, and demonstrated their knowledge and quick thinking.
Particular attention was paid to respect for religious beliefs, understanding of cultural diversity, and maintaining mutual respect and harmony in society.
Events of this kind broaden students' outlook and support the development of critical thinking, intercultural communication skills, and civic responsibility.
Knowledge, respect, and tolerance are the foundations of a harmonious society!
