Open lecture on high-level programming held at the Institute of Physics and Technical Sciences

On 14 October 2026, Assel Begimova, senior lecturer in the Department of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications at the Institute of Physics and Technical Sciences, delivered an open lecture on “The switch case statement and loops” as part of the high-level programming course.
The lecture was held for second-year students enrolled in the 6B06220 “Design and construction of radioelectronic equipment” educational programme. It covered the use of the switch case selection statement and loops to control program execution. The session aimed to develop students’ algorithmic thinking and consolidate the knowledge needed to solve programming problems.
Assel Begimova combines teaching with research in electrodynamics and the modelling of radio engineering devices. She has co-authored articles published in the international scientific journals Applied Sciences and Progress In Electromagnetics Research C.
