Open Day Held at the Faculty of Philology of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University

On 17 October 2026, the Faculty of Philology of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University held an online Open Day for prospective students.

The event aimed to introduce prospective students to the Faculty’s academic programmes, the organisation of the educational process, academic opportunities, and student life, as well as to provide career guidance and support them in choosing their future professions.

During the meeting, the Heads of the Faculty’s Departments delivered presentations on the content of academic programmes, the specific features of the degree programmes, the organisation of the educational process, and the career development prospects available to graduates. Prospective students also had the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on choosing their future professions.

The event brought together school students from several regions of Kazakhstan. Participants included students from Secondary School No. 51 in Semey, Abai Region; Fariza Ongarsynova Gymnasium No. 41 in Aktobe; Kyzylтан Secondary School in Zerendi District, Akmola Region; Gymnasiums No. 32, No. 83, No. 30, and No. 28 in Astana; Alimkhan Yermekov Lyceum No. 38; and Kanysh Satpayev Binom School Lyceum (School-Lyceum No. 120).

The Open Day provided prospective students with an opportunity to learn about the University’s academic environment, explore the distinctive features of its academic programmes, and identify their future career paths.

The Faculty of Philology of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University will continue its efforts to provide career guidance to prospective students, promote educational opportunities, and strengthen engagement with future members of the University community.
