ENU and the Technical Regulation and Metrology Committee signed a memorandum of cooperation

N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Industry signed a memorandum of cooperation on the training of highly qualified personnel within the framework of the World Quality Day. The document was signed by Vice-Rector for Socio-Cultural Development Lyazat Nurkatova and Chairman of the Committee for Technical Regulation and Metrology of the Ministry of Trade and Integration of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kuanysh Eikbayev.

The event was attended by students studying under the educational programs "Standardization and certification" and "Metrology", representatives of the National Accreditation Center, RSE "KazStandart", the teaching staff of the department.

3rd year students of the SiS-32 group, members of the student club "Consumer Protection", have prepared a video for the World Quality Day. They presented the results of a survey among buyers of supermarkets in Astana on the quality of goods and services.

Zhannur Aukenova, who studied for the first semester of the academic year as part of academic mobility at the University of South Korea, made a presentation "My studies in South Korea: the quality and traditions of higher education".

There was also a quiz among 2nd and 3rd year students, a competition of wall newspapers. The winners were awarded with diplomas of the KTRM of the MTI RK and valuable prizes.

It should be noted that every year in the world, on the second Thursday of November, Quality Day is celebrated. This has become a tradition for the Eurasian National University. On November 9, an event dedicated to the World Quality Day was held in the hall of the Academic Council of ENU. The organizers are the Department of Standardization, Certification and Metrology of TEF ENU and the Committee of Technical Regulation and Metrology of the MTI RK.
