Department of Transport Engineering Holds Career Guidance Sessions at Astana Schools

On October 15, 2026, the teaching staff of the Department of Transport Engineering visited secondary schools No. 42 and No. 43 in Astana. The event was organized as part of career guidance to familiarize graduate students with the prospects for higher education and admission conditions.

During the meeting, representatives of the department told the students in detail about the educational programs implemented by the department, as well as about the specifics of studying in the field of "Transport Engineering". Special attention was paid to the issues of admission to the grant form of education: students were explained the procedure for awarding state educational grants, selection criteria, a list of necessary documents and deadlines for submitting applications.

In addition, the opportunities for participation in Olympiads and competitions that provide advantages for admission were highlighted. The teachers also touched upon the topic of social support for students, talked about scholarship programs, dormitories and living conditions for nonresident students.

At the end of the meeting, the students were able to ask their questions and receive detailed answers from representatives of the department. Such events help to raise students' awareness of the educational paths available and help them make an informed choice of their future profession.
