On 16 October 2026, an educational meeting on “Anti-Corruption Policies in Everyday Life” was held for second-year students under the guidance of their group curator, Zhanat Momynkulov.
The meeting focused on Kazakhstan's anti-corruption policy, the principle of “Law and Order”, and the importance of academic integrity and personal responsibility in everyday life.
During the discussion, students learned about the main provisions of Kazakhstan's Law “On Combating Corruption” and examined practical examples of corruption in universities, public institutions, and daily interactions.
Particular attention was given to corruption risks during examination sessions, including offering money or gifts in exchange for grades, using personal connections to obtain unfair advantages, and other violations of academic ethics.
Students also discussed how to respond when someone requests a bribe, why corruption undermines public trust, and how young people can contribute to a culture of honesty and accountability.
The meeting emphasized that fighting corruption is not only the responsibility of government institutions. It begins with the everyday decisions of individuals, including students, teachers, and public officials.
The discussion concluded with a simple message: respect for the law, academic honesty, and rejection of corruption are essential foundations of a fair and responsible society.
