
#ENUscience: ENU doctoral students have completed a scientific internship at the University of Taiwan

The 3rd-year doctoral students of the specialty "Construction" A. Isakulov and S.Musakhanova completed a scientific internship at one of the leading universities in Asia - Tamkang University (Taipei, Taiwan) under the supervision of Professor Der-Wen Chang.

During the internship, ENU doctoral students got acquainted with the staff of the Department of Construction and undergraduates from Professor Wen Chang's research group, visited the geotechnical laboratory and got acquainted with scientific literature in the university library.
Isakulov and S.Musakhanova made presentations on the topic of their research for students of a foreign supervisor and told about the problems of construction of buildings and structures in difficult ground conditions in Astana.
At the end of the scientific internship, the ENU doctoral students were awarded certificates.
It should be noted that Tamkang University (TKU) is a private educational institution located in Taipei City, Taiwan. TKU cooperates with organisations such as Foundation for Cooperation in Higher Education of Taiwan (FICHET), Association of Private Universities and Colleges (APUC), Asia Pacific Association for International Education (APIE), National Association of Foreign Student Advisors (NAFSA). Currently, the university has 23,000 students.
