Serik Kaldan and Zhanerke Koilybai, students of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, participated in the 3rd Turkic World Youth Forum, held in Trabzon, Türkiye, with the support of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY).
Representatives of Turkic-speaking nations and youth from diaspora communities across 24 countries gathered for this large-scale international event.
Talented youth from L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University also participated in this international platform to exchange experience. The Kazakhstan delegation included Kaldan Serik Yerzhanuly, a 4th-year student at the Institute of Digital Sciences and Artificial Intelligence, and Zhanerke Koilybay, a 3rd-year student at the Faculty of Philology.
As part of the forum program, participants discussed the development of international cooperation, opportunities in digital technologies, global challenges, and the preservation of shared historical and cultural heritage.
During the business program at the "Youth Forum" session, ENU student Serik Kaldan presented a report titled "Human Values in the Era of AI." He presented his project to delegations from 24 countries: AbAI» - a conversational AI model based on the works of Abai Kunanbayuly, built upon the creative legacy of the great poet.
"Representatives of the Turkic diaspora came to the forum from Turkic-speaking states as well as various regions around the globe. This platform was immensely beneficial for me to learn about international projects and gain new insights. Furthermore, we connected with young leaders from brotherly nations and engaged in cultural exchange. I would like to express my gratitude to my university for these opportunities," noted ENU student Zhanerke Koilybay.
This gathering organized by TURKSOY deepened mutual understanding among the youth of countries sharing common historical roots, elevating cultural and spiritual ties to a new level.
