A decade on the development of inclusive culture has begun at ENU

The opening ceremony of the decade "No One Is to Be Left Without Attention!", organized by the Center for Inclusive Support and the KOMEK Volunteer Club, took place at The L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
The aim of the initiative is to promote the principles of equal opportunities in the university community, create a culture of mutual respect and support, and raise awareness of the importance of creating a comfortable and barrier-free environment for students with special educational needs.
The decade began with the action "Unity and Equality". One of the symbolic moments of the event was the launch of paper airplanes by volunteers. This action represented freedom, equal opportunities, the desire to help everyone's dreams gain wings, as well as mutual support.
An exhibition of creative works "The World Through Children’s Eyes" was organized as part of the event. The exhibition featured works reflecting children's perception of the world around them and the creative potential of young authors.
In addition, the volunteers visited the university's academic buildings, where they asked teachers and students interactive questions on the topic of inclusive culture.
The program of the decade, which will last from October 27 to November 6, includes various promotions, psychological training, a draughts tournament, a training seminar, art therapy and a quiz. These events are aimed at expanding the university community's understanding of inclusion, as well as strengthening the values of kindness, responsibility, mutual understanding and support among students.
