Chemistry and Creativity at ENU: Serik Amina and her Path to the Stars

Chemistry is the scientific discipline that investigates the properties and transformations accompanied by changes in all forms of matter. It is precisely through Chemistry that young talents are motivated to develop in various directions.

For instance, Serik Amina, a second-year student specializing in 6B05301 «Applied Chemistry”, showcased her talent on our university stage. Setting a positive example for all our students, she revealed her creative abilities in a solo debut performance in the musical "MAMMA MIA" and demonstrated diligence in her studies, achieving high academic performance.

Serik Amina: «My student life unfolds very intensively and interestingly. I am the leader of the vocal group "E-STUDIO" at ENU and the class president of the "ПХМ-23" group in the Faculty of Natural Sciences. Achieving high academic proficiency, combining studies with creativity, demands a lot of effort, hard work, time, and energy. However, as creativity has been a part of me since childhood, I derive only pleasure from the entire process. In the musical "Mamma Mia!", I was fortunate to play the lead role. This musical, along with the songs of the globally renowned group "ABBA," was performed in Kazakh for the first time, and we translated them ourselves».
