Rector of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University at the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Kazakhstan

University Rector Erlan Sydykov and the teaching staff of the Department of Oriental Studies took part in the celebration of the National Day of Oman, organized by the Embassy of Oman in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the beginning of the event, the anthems of Oman and Kazakhstan were played. Then, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Oman to Kazakhstan, Mr. Muhammad al-Bahrani, made an official speech in which he emphasized the progressive nature of the development of bilateral relations.            From the Kazakh side, Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alibek Zhamauov addressed congratulations.

It should also be noted that graduates of the Department of Oriental Studies took part in the reception: specialist of the Department of Consular Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan - N. Aipov, translator and assistant to the Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Kazakhstan - A. Aigumusova and press secretary of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman - Zh. Kalmenova.
