Dimash Kudaibergen met with ENU students

The world-famous singer, Peopleэs Artist of Kazakhstan Dimash Kudaibergen visited the Eurasian National University at the invitation of students. The guest got acquainted with the university, met with students and, together with the student orchestra, performed well-known kuis.

Dimash Kudaibergen got acquainted with a copy of the Kultegin monument and the Museum of Writing in ENU.
During the meeting with the students, Dimash Kudaibergen told about his childhood, formation, upbringing, shared his favorite books, answered the question about his plans for life, about his preferences in sports.
“The activity of my parents in the national culture, of course, have determined my fate. I was also lucky to meet good mentors in my life. Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Olzhabayuly once taught vocal singing to my mother, then me.
My parents are still worried about me, I take every step with the blessing and support of my family and my people. Even if I am 100 years old, I will always respect my parents’ thoughts and views,” the famous singer began a series of answers.
ENU students asked the performer how he manages to maintain an important quality in himself – human simplicity.
“No matter how professional you are in your field, the most important thing is to be simple and spiritually rich. If you don’t have human qualities, professional skills, even at the highest level, you will have no value,” the performer noted.
During the meeting, an impromptu performance by Dimash Kudaibergen and the ENU student orchestra “Dala Sazy” took place. They jointly performed well-known Kazakh works on dombra.
The performer drew attention to the importance of informing about the achievements of young people in education and science. Dimash Kudaibergen also spoke about his favorite books. He emphasized Mukhtar Auezov’s work “The Way of Abai” and Churchill’s work “Never Give Up”.
The students were also interested in how Dimash feels when he hears high praise about himself from his idols.
“Of course, it is very exciting when you hear pleasant and laudatory words about yourself from your idols and outstanding cultural figures. I think our internal scales should work in such cases.
At the age of 5, I started studying at a music school. Then my grandmother carried me to school on her back, despite the fact that her leg hurt. True happiness is born in my heart when I manage to please her, thereby justifying her efforts and labors invested in me,” said the young talent.
At the end of the event, the university administration thanked the distinguished guest for the honor, for interesting answers to questions, and awarded the people’s favorite one with the university’s highest awards – the Kultegin medal.
From the entire youth community of the university, the singer received a branded sweatshirt of the university and a national chapan made by an ENU student as a souvenir.
Dimash Kudaibergen thanked the university staff for the warm welcome and wished the students further success in their studies.
