
International forum"Children's literature in global space"

The Department of Russian Philology of the Faculty of Philology of the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilyov, the international forum “Children’s literature in the world space” was held, held within the framework of the project of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The forum was held online. The forum was attended by professionals involved in children's literature, children's and adolescent reading. The forum lasted two days, during which 36 reports were read, a children's reading competition and a children's drawing competition were held. Open sections brought together scientists, philologists, sociologists, methodologists, teachers, psychologists, translators, students, doctoral students, teachers of secondary schools from near and far abroad - Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Poland, the Kingdom of Sweden, Great Britain and Northern Ireland - who are interested in children's literature and children's books. The geography of Kazakh participants is also diverse: Astana, Almaty, Kostanay, Kokshetau, Pavlodar, Zhezkazgan, Satpayev. The demonstrated interest in this scientific event on the part of specialists from different countries and cities suggests that close attention to children's literature unites many and has international significance. The forum was organized by the Department of Russian Philology of the Faculty of Philology of the Eurasian National University named after L.N. Gumilyov. The department is headed by Doctor of Philology, Professor Kadisha Rustembekovna Nurgali, head of the grant scientific project “Children's literature of Kazakhstan in the context of world literature as the basis of national identity” of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of which this scientific event took place.
On the first day, at the plenary session, open reports were made on the most relevant and interesting topics in children's literature and reading. Thus, Leslava Korenovska (Krakow Pedagogical University of National Education, Poland) in her report “The musicality of the text in short prose for children by Konstantin Paustovsky (using the example of the story “Basket with fir cones)” uniquely illuminated the issues of the musicality of the text in short prose for children, outlined the problematic field of this topic and created the basis for discussion. Then E. V. Geddis (Belfast, Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland) in the report “School of Further Education “The First Russian School in Belfast”” presented criteria for selecting works of children’s literature in order to form a source of new knowledge for a bilingual child using the example of a line of school textbooks. The open report of Doctor of Philology, Professor K. R. Nurgali (ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, Astana, Kazakhstan) focused on the differences between the heroes of books in modern fantasy in the circle of children's reading, it was about heroes, problems and stories. Examples from many modern books of this genre were given as illustrations. This report received the greatest attention from young forum participants - the name Harry Potter, included in the topic, played a role, and the most important was the acquaintance with modern teenage literature in the fantasy genre. Further, in the report of S.B. Parming “On reading Russian children's classics abroad” (Chairman of the Association of Russian Language Teachers, Kingdom of Sweden) provides examples of working with works of Russian classical literature, gives a brief analysis of the methods of Western scientists and provides an answer to the question posed, why is it still necessary to study works Russian classics in Russian language lessons in Sweden and how this experience can be used in other countriesThe unifying semantic component of the forum was the work of three thematic areas. The section “Children's Literature in Modern Scientific Research” consisted of presentations by philologists, teacher-researchers, and teachers of secondary schools. The main idea of her work was sounded in the report by O. A. Anishchenko “Axiological aspect in the study of children's literature: based on the work “French Lessons” by V. Rasputin (Kokshetau University named after Sh. Ualikhanov, Kokshetau, Kazakhstan). The report reflected the principles of the axiological approach to the analysis of children's books, and drew attention to the value potential of children's literature, in particular, the formation of the value consciousness of a teenager. In the reports and messages of other participants of the section G.Z. Shashkina, A.A Amitova, M.Dzhapasheva, Zh.Ibraeva, Zh.Malikova (Kazakhstan), S.Kurmankulova (Osh State University, Osh, Kyrgyzstan), D. Madaminova (Osh State University, Osh, Kyrgyzstan), N. D. Strelnikova (St. Petersburg, Russia) discussed childhood issues in modern scientific research , techniques for working with the book, images of children in modern world literature are shown, examples are given from precedent texts in children's environment, techniques for studying Abai's poetry in the junior and middle grades of the Kazakh school are demonstrated, the dialogue of arts in Russian literature lessons is considered, an analysis is made of the educational role of the brothers' fairy tale Grimm, using “Hansel and Gretel” as an example, discussed the fate of migrant children in the Kyrgyz Republic and the role of world literature in the life of a child in the modern world.
At the meeting of the section “World Literature and National Traditions of Children’s Literature for Children and About Children,” the reports of the section participants raised the question of the principles of the anthropological approach to the study of reading. The main direction of this topic was reflected in the report “Scientific and artistic knowledge in children’s literature” by Zh. Beisenova (L. N. Gumilev ENU, Astana, Kazakhstan). The synthesis of scientific knowledge and artistic storytelling in children's literature was considered, the intersection points of Eastern and European traditions were identified, where Kazakh and foreign writers are organically connected. The report outlines the range of natural history fiction addressed to children, one of the main tasks of which is to describe nature as the beginning of the young reader’s path to natural scientific knowledge about the animal world. At the section meeting, reports were presented on current issues and key directions in the development of children's literature, issues of the national and cultural specificity of literature through the prism of world literature, and opinions were expressed on extracurricular work in children's educational institutions. G. Dzhakipova (college, Satpayev, Kazakhstan) spoke about the role and place of children's literature in the “great” literature of Kazakhstan. The work of the modern Kazakh writer A. Askarov became the subject of a speech by S. Seralimova (ENU named after L. N. Gumilyov, Astana, Kazakhstan) with a report “The image of childhood in the works of Alibek Askarov.” In the report of L.I. Vigerina (Leningrad State University named after A.S. Pushkin, St. Petersburg, Russia) “Soviet children’s literature and Christian tradition (based on V.V. Golyavkin’s story “My Good Dad”), it was about the beginning of the study of the connections between Soviet children’s literature and Christian traditions, return and interest in national origins and traditions in the first decade of the 21st century, about the time of dramatic changes in Russia in ideological, cultural and socio-political terms. In the report by K.Dzhakipova (Academy of Logistics and Transport, Almaty, Kazakhstan) read the poetry of the Kazakh poet and writer Muzafar Alimbaev, dedicated to his 100th anniversary. In the report “Travelogue in children's literature” by G. Dosmaganbetova (ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov, Astana, Kazakhstan), attention was focused on the features of depicting children's adventures in the travelogue genre. The report of D. Omarova (ENU named after L. N. Gumilyov, Astana, Kazakhstan) “The world of animals in the story “The Shaggy Child” by M. Aromshtam, dedicated to the topic of the relationship between man and our little brothers, and also covering important aspects of the interaction between man and animals, aroused keen interest , friendship and loyalty.
Within the framework of the section “Synthesis of Arts in Children’s Literature,” a report was made by Zh. Nurmanova, (L. N. Gumilev ENU, Astana, Kazakhstan) “Synthesis of Arts in Children’s Literature of Kazakhstan, outlining the key strategies for the work of the section. In most of the messages from the section participants: M. Zhapanova, ENU named after L. N. Gumilyov (Astana, Kazakhstan) - “Gray Fierce” by M. Auezov in cinema,” A. Asan (ENU named after L. N. Gumilyov, Astana, Kazakhstan) Astana, Kazakhstan) – “The works of K. Chukovsky in the animation of I. Ivanov-Vano”, A. Absadykova (secondary school No. 62, Astana, Kazakhstan) – “On the history of the film adaptation of A. Tolstoy’s “The Golden Key”.
It should be noted that students and doctoral students of the Eurasian National University named after L. N. Gumilyov, Astana, Kazakhstan, took part in the work of the sections.
As part of the forum, reading and children's drawing competitions were held dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the famous children's writer and poet Muzafar Alimbaev. Students from schools and child care institutions in Astana, Kazakhstan, took part in the competition. An interesting poetic page unfolded, poems by Muzafar Alimbaev were read in Kazakh and Russian, students presented artistic scenes based on the works of famous children's poets and writers - A. Kunanbaev, K. Chukovsky, A. Tolstoy, etc.
To summarize what has been said, we would like to add that the forum was one of the most important steps towards the implementation of the Concept for the grant scientific project “Children’s literature of Kazakhstan in the context of world literature as the basis of national identity” of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
