ENU students won gold in togyzkumalak at the XII Summer Universiade among university students of the Republic of Kazakhstan

Students of the of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, the Faculty of Philology – Zhansai Smailova (1 board) and the Faculty of Social Sciences – Kundyz Yesirkep (2 board) won a gold medal in single togyzkumalak games at the XII Summer Universiade among students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In the togyzkumalak team competition, the girls also became winners, beating rivals from other universities.

Sandugash Bolysbay (the Faculty of Social Sciences) and Akbota Saparova (the Faculty of Information Technologies) also played in the ENU women’s team.

It should be noted that 15 teams of boys and 12 teams of girls took part in togyzkumalak competitions of the XII Summer Universiade among students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
