
6th project meeting on the Trigger project within the framework of the Erasmus+ program
On May 16-17, 2024, the 6th project meeting on the trigger project “Stimulating Innovative Approaches and Entrepreneurial Skills of Students through Creating Conditions for Graduate Employment in Central Asia” was held. The meeting issues related to the preparation of a final report on the results of three years of work were considered and discussed on the agenda.
The meeting was attended by all partners within the framework of the Trigger project consortium within the framework of the Erasmus+ program:

- IDEC, Greece
- ASTRA, Slovakia.
Partners from Central Asia:
- Kazakhstan (L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Toraigyrov University, Kh.Dosmukhamedov Atyrau State University);
- Tajikistan (Kulyab State University, Khorog State University, Dangara State University);
- Uzbekistan (Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers, Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, Namangan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Termez State University).
Project Coordinator Natasha Urbanchikova (Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia) gave a brief description of completed and planned tasks, as well as on the Management Work Package and Financial Report.
Representatives of Termez State University (Uzbekistan) presented WP 5: Dissemination of information (key performance indicators, presentations on the website, distribution of leaflets; newsletters; slide demonstrations, promotion on social networks, etc.). Plans for operation and sustainable development were highlighted by Toraigyrov University and Dangara State University.
Moreover, the work of the project was highly appreciated by external experts from the International Council for Auditing Standards and Validation of Information on each WP1, WP2, WP3, WP4, WP5, WP6 work package from Italy, Uzbekistan, Malta, Serbia and Tajikistan.
The European coordinators of the first and second work packages (France and Austria) made a subsequent recommendation to ensure the sustainability of the project results and the introduction and updating of an effective professional development scheme in each Central Asian university.
Reports on task 3.5 Development and Testing of an Effective Scheme to Increase Graduate Employment Opportunities were presented for each Central Asian country on the implementation of a system for providing student services and internships. ENU put forward proposals for follow-up to WP3 and recommendations to ensure the sustainability of the project results (Kazakhstan).
This meeting is the final meeting of the consortium in connection with the end of the project implementation period in July 2024. Nevertheless, the participants expressed their willingness to further develop the subject of this project and to implement other joint projects.
