ENU is actively working on the completion of graduate certification courses by students.
In accordance with paragraph 20 of Order No. 561 dated November 12, 2021 of the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on amendments to the Order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated January 27, 2019 No. 83 "On approval of the Rules and conditions for certification of teaching staff and persons equivalent to them holding positions in educational organizations, implementing general educational programs of preschool education and training, primary, basic secondary and general secondary education, educational programs of technical and vocational, post-secondary, additional education and special training programs, and other civil servants in the field of education and science", all graduates of educational programs in the field of education «Pedagogical Sciences» are required to confirm their level of knowledge by passing an Assessment of teachers' knowledge (previously National qualification Testing). This innovation is aimed at improving the quality of personnel. Qualification testing allows you to determine the level of knowledge and methods of teaching graduates on the subject.
The educational organization will employ only those graduates who have passed the test and scored the necessary points.
The operator of the Teachers' Knowledge Assessment is the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Students of the final courses of non-pedagogical educational programs undergo professional certification in certification centers.
Graduates of universities who have passed an independent assessment will have a diploma confirming the passage of professional training in a specific specialization and a certificate confirming the skills of applying the acquired knowledge in practice. Thus, employers are given the opportunity to hire graduates with a certificate, without making requirements for work experience.
