
Higher education
The university implements a multi-level education system.
The level of higher education includes a bachelor's degree, which is aimed at training personnel with the award of a bachelor's degree in an appropriate educational program with the mandatory acquisition of at least 240 academic credits.
The ENU is offered educational programs in 8 areas of Personnel Training at the undergraduate level:
01 - Pedagogical sciences;
02 - Arts and Humanitarian sciences;
03 - Social sciences, journalism and information;
04 - Business, Management and Law;
05 - Natural sciences, mathematics and statistics;
06 - Information and communication technology;
07 - Engineering, manufacturing and building industries;
11 - Services.
Our university’s quality of education meets the highest standards, as evidenced by the successful participation of ENU in international and national rankings, international accreditation of specialty.
Educational activities are carried out by highly qualified specialists, among whom are laureates of state prizes in the field of science and education, well–known scientists, academicians, doctors and candidates of sciences, professors and associate professors, PhD doctors and teachers with extensive experience in teaching and scientific activities.
Out of the total number of educational programs, 38 educational programs are innovative, that is, unique educational programs that have no analogues. They were created on the basis of the Atlas of new professions and competencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, based on the current requests of large employers in Kazakhstan.
Currently, the share of employed graduates is 87%.
The inflow of applicants has increased more than fivefold since the establishment of the university – from four thousand in 1996 to twenty thousand in 2022.
Students of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University not only acquire deep knowledge, broad horizons, a high level of culture, but also improve mobility, creativity, and leadership qualities. All of this allows them to find an application for their knowledge.
Today, more than 78 thousand first-class specialists have graduated from the alma mater.
The university has 13 faculties: Architecture and Construction, Information Technology, Natural Sciences, Mechanics and Mathematics, Physics and Technology, Economics, Philology, Law, International Relations, Journalism and Political Science, Social Sciences, History, transport and Energy.
