Face ID System - used for entering and exiting academic buildings, dormitories, and the library.

The photo required for facial recognition must be uploaded to the Platonus Information System.

Face ID — Entry via Turnstiles

When registering in the Platonus system, you must:

1. Upload a photo from your identification card; or
2. Upload a high-quality portrait photo (size 3×4 cm). (The photo must meet the requirements listed in point 1.)

!!! If the system does not recognize your face:

1. Adjust your position (step forward or backward, turn your head slightly);
2. Try using another turnstile;
3. Visit Room 114 (Main Building, UAC) with your identification card.

To ensure smooth access to the university via Face ID, please follow these conditions:

A single password is used for all digital systems at the university.
After the enrollment order is issued, a one-time password is sent to the student via SMS. Once the one-time password is received, it must be immediately changed to a permanent one in the Platonus system.
The initial setup and change of the password are carried out in the Platonus system.

If a student previously studied in a bachelor’s program and has been admitted to a master’s or doctoral program, the old password must not be used. A new one-time password will be sent via SMS and must be changed to a permanent one.

Correct phone number. One-time passwords for accessing the Platonus system are sent via SMS. Please make sure that your current phone number is accurate in your personal profile.

Why updating personal data is important: outdated information can cause errors when logging into the system, problems receiving passwords, and loss of contact with instructors.
Make sure to provide your current mobile phone number in the Platonus system — the one-time password for system access will be sent to this number.

How to change your password in the Platonus Information System?

• Access the Platonus Information System (IS “Platonus”) via browser: https://edu.enu.kz/
• To log into IS “Platonus,” follow these steps:
• Open a web browser on your computer or mobile device. Please note that access to IS “Platonus” is only supported through a web browser. Access via applications or mobile versions is not supported.
• Go to the IS “Platonus” website at https://edu.enu.kz/.
• On the login page, enter your IIN and the one-time password received via SMS.

ATTENTION: MANUAL DATA ENTRY IS REQUIRED

When logging into IS “Platonus,” please enter data manually without using copy-paste functions.
