Nurlan Temirgaliev
Professor, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences
Nurlan Temirgaliev was born on January 13, 1947, in the village of Kalmykovo, Taipak District, West Kazakhstan Region. In 1969, he graduated from Kazakh State University with a degree in Mathematics. From 1969 to 1972, he completed postgraduate studies at the V. A. Steklov Mathematical Institute of the USSR Academy of Sciences in Moscow. From 1987 to 1989, he completed doctoral studies at Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Professional Experience: Since 1974, he has held positions as Senior Lecturer, Associate Professor, and Professor in the Department of Mathematical Analysis at Al-Farabi Kazakh State University. Since 1991, he has served as Head of the Department of Functional Analysis and Probability Theory at Al-Farabi Kazakh State University. From 1997 to February 10, 2009, he was Head of the Department of Mathematical Analysis at L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. Since 2009, he has been Director of the Institute of Theoretical Mathematics and Scientific Computations and Professor in the Department of Fundamental Mathematics at L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
