Student organizations

The Youth Center is one of the best and leading organizations of our university, which takes an active part in all events and makes a significant contribution. It is an environment that promotes the development of spiritual culture, activity, and comprehensive development of youth as a person. Active students in this organization will have the opportunity not only to gain great life experience, but also to find friends and like-minded people.

The history of this organization dates back to December 2011. The first chairman is Askhat Oralov, now the Minister of Information and Social Development of the country.

This year, the Youth Center is headed by a 3rd-year student of the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science Kiikbai Yerlan.

The Youth Center consists of 4 committees holding various positions:

1. Organizing Committee;
2. Foreign Affairs Committee;
3. Committee on Culture;
4. Information Committee.

These committees organize events that not only transform the lives of students, amuse them, but also increase the sense of patriotism, develop spiritual culture. Traditional events include ENU Students day, ENULand, charity events, ENUshow held in collaboration with other organizations, and many other events. In addition, among the 13 faculties, youth centers of the best faculties of the semester or year have been identified for summing up the results of the semester or year, and extended meetings, where an award ceremony is held for active students who have shown themselves in the best aspects, are also among the largest traditional events.

At the initiative of the head of state Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, 2020 was declared the “Year of Volunteers”. The university has a well-developed volunteer movement. Volunteer students are not indifferent to the social problems of citizens and try to help at any moment. And the university management evaluates the work of volunteers and supports their initiatives.

In this regard, the “ENU volunteers” project has been approved and a lot of work is being carried out in six areas. Directions:

The League of Volunteers QAMQOR is an organization of student volunteers of the Eurasian National University. It was founded in 2019 by Erasyl Serikuly, a student at the Faculty of Transport and Energy. Currently, the number of students in the organization is about 150. One of the features of the organization is that it is not divided into faculties.

The main goal is to encourage young people to become volunteers, to help them gain experience participating in various cultural, sports and social events.

In addition, LVQ provides assistance to large families, lonely elderly people, visits orphanages and does charity work. The traditional large-scale event of this concern is the charitable decade “25 good deeds”. During this decade, volunteers help the people around them in any way they can, including delivering clothes to those in need at the mosque, handing out hot pies to people working outside on cold days, going to the animal shelter and taking our little friends for walks. field and other directions.

In the 2022-2023 academic year, LVQ students volunteered on behalf of our university at the Holy Mass of the Pope, organized by the G-Global Green Economic Coalition and Söz Astana Public Talk.

In addition, volunteers actively participate in university events.

Ecovolunteer Club

The eco-volunteer club was created at the Faculty of Social Sciences within the framework of the ideas of the scientific project “Greenization of the university educational system as an innovative way to modernize the spiritual consciousness of students.” The goal of the club is to organize a website as a structural part of the “Green University” for informal communication between students and teachers on current issues of environmental education in the development of the “Green University”.

Komek Volunteer Club

"SENIM" is an active youth medium, created on the basis of the fourth resolution of the problem of students. Profsoyuz from the moment of its foundation works jointly with the administration of the University for the benefit of students.
