«Komek» Volunteer Club

To accompany and support people with disabilities, the Komek volunteer club has been created, working on the «2+1» model.

The «2 +1 model» is the assignment of persons with disabilities to those in need, accompanied by 2 volunteers who have passed special instructions and provide them with social, psychological, and physical support.

In the conditions of the university, a student from among his classmates or fellow countrymen is assigned to persons with disabilities after passing a special instruction. This makes it easier to provide assistance and receive information in a timely manner.

Volunteer Responsibilities:

1) support in overcoming barriers that arise during education

2) inform the Club coordinator about health-related obstacles and educational achievements of persons with disabilities.

3) organization of events that enhance the adaptation of persons with disabilities to the social environment

4) participation in the creation of an inclusive ENU environment
