Department of Digital Development

On the basis of the Center for Distance Technologies, on August 3, 2020, the Department of Digital Development and Online Learning was created at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

The goal of the Department is to coordinate and support digital development and online learning at the University.

The department consists of 4 sectors:

- Sector of digital development;

- Sector for support of e-learning and document management;

- Online course development sector;

- Sector of analytics and testing of information systems.

The main tasks of the department are:

• Coordination and provision of digital development at the University.
• Coordination and full support of the process of creation and application of massive open online courses (hereinafter referred to as MOOCs) at the University.
• Methodological support for MOOCs.
• Coordination and support of e-learning at the University, including online learning.
• Maintenance of automated information systems of the University, entrusted to the responsibility of the Department;
• Providing consulting assistance on working with the components of information systems of the University.
