
The Project Office of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University is a center for coordination, monitoring, and development of all university project initiatives. Its mission is to implement a modern project management culture, increase the efficiency of strategic initiatives, and develop project competencies among staff and students.
The Project Office ensures a systematic approach to managing educational, scientific, and infrastructure projects by uniting departments and external partners to achieve the University's development goals.
Main Areas of Activity:
- Project planning and support — from idea to implementation, with control over timelines, budget, and results;
- Methodological and analytical support — development of standards, templates, regulations, training, and consulting;
- Monitoring and performance evaluation — maintaining a project registry, KPI analysis, and risk management;
- Integration of project-based approaches into education — developing competencies among students and faculty;
- Digitalization of processes — application of modern IT tools for planning, communication, and reporting.
The ENU Project Office is a driver of sustainable transformation, forming a unified project management ecosystem and improving the quality of the university environment.

Closing event of 2025
The closing event marking the completion of 26 successfully implemented projects was held on December 19, 2025. During the event, the best projects and the best project managers were awarded. Currently, post-monitoring of the 2025 Project Portfolio is underway.

Training and Competency Development in 2025
July–August 2025 — project management training was conducted for 51 ENU employees.
November 19–22, 2025 — with a study visit to Moscow, Skoltech (Skolkovo), training was conducted for 13 key University staff members, including representatives of structural divisions and faculty deans involved in the “Construction of the ENUgrad Campus” project. The purpose was to study international best practices in the design, construction, and operation of world-class university campuses for application in the implementation of the strategic project.
December 8–12, 2025 — training and international Level D certification in project management were completed by 2 University employees, including one representative of the Project Office.
December 24–25, 2025 — training for faculty members and heads of structural divisions was conducted on the topic “Project Management and Institutionalization of the Project-Based Approach in the University,” with the participation of 30 attendees.
All participants successfully passed final assessment and confirmed their readiness to apply the acquired knowledge in practice.
All trainees completed final certification and demonstrated preparedness for practical implementation of the skills obtained. Photo reports from the training sessions are available on the official Instagram page of the Project Office: @enu_project_office.
These results demonstrate the establishment of a solid foundation for the further development of project activities at the University.
Promotion of Project Activities in 2025
To disseminate information about implemented initiatives and to foster a project-oriented mindset within the University, active information and media support has been utilized.
As of now, the official Instagram page of the Project Office has 1,382 followers;
10 interview videos have been published;
9 collaborative video productions have been prepared and released.
Systematic efforts to promote a project culture contribute to increasing the University’s openness, engaging young people, and shaping a positive public perception of ENU’s activities.

In order to strengthen international cooperation and build a sustainable image of ENU, the following initiatives are being implemented and prepared for launch:

Preparation includes reading works, developing questions, a brief scenario plan, distribution of roles and rehearsing the discussion. Recording takes place in the format of an interview or discussion with an analysis of the plot, characters, author's position, cultural and historical context and modern interpretations using methods of analytical and problem-based discussion. |

Within the framework of the university’s strategic priorities, the Project Office managed a portfolio of 30 projects in 2025 aimed at developing the scientific, educational, cultural, sports, and social potential of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
By the end of 2025, all projects within the portfolio had been successfully completed, contributing to the improvement of the university’s academic environment and expanding opportunities for students and staff.
In addition, part of the projects planned for 2026 are dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the university and are focused on infrastructure modernization, strengthening the university’s image, and improving the quality of the student environment as part of the anniversary initiatives.
The successful implementation of the entire project portfolio demonstrates the effectiveness of the Project Office and its contribution to the university’s strategic development and modernization.In 2026, the Project Office is overseeing 23 projects, including three planned from 2025:
