The Institute of Continuing Education

The Institute of Continuing Education is a structural division of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, which carries out its educational activities on education programs of additional training (advanced training of teaching staff, scientific personnel, administrative and managerial and educational support personnel; advanced training of teachers, as well as post-course support of teachers’ activities and monitoring of the effectiveness of education programs; non-formal education; pedagogical retraining; professional training and retraining of employees of enterprises, experts in the field of economics, finance, accounting and management; training of masters of the profession-oriented direction according to the education program of the master’s degree of pedagogical direction; training courses (computer literacy); testing for the degree of proficiency (Unified national testing (UNT), Comprehensive testing of applicants (CTA), language proficiency, pedagogical testing, etc.); courses of the silver University, language courses). The purpose of the Institute is to meet a person’s educational and professional needs and professional development.

The Institute’s structure includes a Certification Center.

Certification Center

Certification Center is a structural subdivision of the Institute of Continuing Education, which carries out its activities in organizing and conducting examinations in the field of certification and confirmation of proficiency, certification exams “ACCA”, “Professional Accountant of the Republic of Kazakhstan”, and “State Auditor”.

Main Tasks:

certification of professional accountants;

certification of state auditors;

ACCA certification;

general activities in certification and proficiency.
