ENU co-organized the Green Energy Management-2025 Central Asia Edition Summer School in Tashkent

L.N.Gumilyov Eurasian National University has co-organized the Green Energy Management-2025 Central Asia Edition Summer School, which runs from June 23 to 27 at the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan and Tashkent Technical University. This is the 7th school in the Central Asian region, which was initiated by the Eurasian National University in 2017. The school is organized by the SILKWAY Consortium, which includes universities from Italy, Spain, Azerbaijan, Albania, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.
From 2017 to 2023, Eurasian National University hosted GEM in Central Asia. It is necessary to note the great influence of the school and cooperation within the SILKWAY consortium on the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals to our university strategy.
Thus, we have developed our cooperation with Eni, the implementation of the new Master's program "GREEN ENERGY TECHNOLOGIES" with the Eni Corporate University ECU, establishing cooperation with Italian universities, the University of Padova, the Polytechnic University of Turin, the launch of the "Green Office" for promotion aimed at developing university and university culture.
This case inspired us to hold such events, and in early June we held the Eurasian Climate Talks at the school together with the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Kazakhstan.
GEM 2025 unites 5 Central Asian countries and 4 countries of the Organization of Turkic Countries. The school attracted together students from Italy, the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
Thie program will give students the opportunity to attend lectures by experts in the field of business, renewable energy, development, chemistry, energy transition, HR, etc., which makes the agenda interdisciplinary and interesting.
It should be noted that last year ENU held a GEM in Kyrgyzstan with the support of Osh State University.
